District meeting place in the Neubeckum leisure centre

Joint projects and professional exchange. The 3D Printer Club with Ralf Hobmeier meets fortnightly on Tuesdays in even calendar weeks from 17:00 to 19:00. Interested parties are welcome at any time.

Seniors' get-together for card games in a convivial atmosphere. Games are played every week on Tuesday under the direction of Mrs Lackmann and on Wednesday under the direction of Mrs Hoppe, from 14:00 to 17:00. New members are welcome.

In the spirit of neighbourliness, sustainability and solidarity, the hall of the town hall on the market square is available for people of all ages. Coffee, hot chocolate or tea and delicious waffles are available, as well as fresh bread rolls and eggs. The whole event is organised in cooperation with the Neubeckum leisure centre support association. Linger together, chat, play cards and board games together or find someone to help with the shopping - it's neighbourhood in action.

Don't cook for yourself on Tuesdays and don't get a snack on the go, but eat together. At the Freizeithaus Neubeckum, you can enjoy a delicious, hot meal at an unbeatable price.

The sewing studio is open weekly on Mondays from 16:00 to 20:00. Children aged 8 to 14 sew in the even calendar weeks, people aged 14 and over and adults in the odd calendar weeks. Under the expert guidance of Andrea Böhm, you can make great things with your own sewing machine. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced sewer, whether you're a freelance sewer or have your own project - everyone is welcome here.

On Wednesdays from 17:00 to 18:00, senior citizens dance in the dance room of the Neubeckum leisure centre under the direction of Maria Tieu.

A cosy get-together with coffee, tea, cake and cake galore. With changing themed afternoons, usually every month on the first Saturday from 14:00 to 17:00. Please refer to the annual programme for the exact dates.

A lot has happened in the last 50 years since 1973. The original youth centre has become a children's and youth centre and, since 2021, a district centre with a focus on children and youth work.

The Neubeckum leisure centre is currently undergoing extensive modernisation and barrier-free conversion. The various parts will be more closely interlinked than before. As a result, the district centre at Gottfried-Polysius-Straße 6 has been closed since mid-January for probably a year.
