Exchange with Hedwig Tarner

Many topics were discussed with Hedwig Tarner, member of the state parliament for Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, together with Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich and the council parliamentary group chairmen Nadhira de Silva and Peter Dennin:

for example, social housing, municipal heating planning, the financing of school buildings and fire brigades or the transport planning of the future.

The Green politician discussed the standards she sees for open all-day schooling in the future and how local authorities can be supported in tackling the climate and energy transition. In return, Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich reported on the challenges at municipal level and was able to give the member of state parliament many suggestions.

Hedwig Tarner was a member of the state parliament from June 1995 to June 2000 and has been a member again since June 2022. The Warendorf native is the spokesperson for sport and urban development for her parliamentary group.
