Dinnendahl sculpture is cleaned
Four parking spaces on the town hall forecourt will have to make way for this during this period, while the two parking spaces for the severely disabled located there will remain available.
The 2.60 metre high sculpture by Ludwig Dinenndahl has adorned the entrance to Beckum Town Hall since 1985. The artist, who died in 2014, made it from white Greek marble. The open-pored material is now being lightly polished by the Langenberg sculptor Bernd Bergkemper so that it shines again in new splendour.
