Former atrium in the Phoenix remodelled

The accessible shore area of the lake in the Phoenix activity park has been redesigned.

2 benches invite you to linger on a semi-circular area under newly planted spherical ash trees. The paving of the former atrium was frequently flooded and therefore raised. The pontoon had to be removed a few years ago.

For the new seating area, the steps were modelled into an embankment and the ground was given a water-bound surface. The boulders were converted into water stepping stones and also serve as fall protection.
