Outdoor pools in the starting blocks

The pools are partially filled, further preparations are in full swing: on 18 May the outdoor pool season starts in Neubeckum, on 27 May in Beckum.

While the outdoor pools are about to start their season, the indoor pool season ends on 25 May.

New features for the season
Everyone has free admission on the opening day of the outdoor pools. At the Neubeckum outdoor pool, young bathers can look forward to a completely renovated playground, while they can glide down a new slide at the Beckum outdoor pool playground. The Förderverein Beckumer Schwimmbäder is contributing 6,000 euros towards the cost of the slide combination. New sun loungers and parasols were also purchased.

The pay stations in both outdoor pools are new. The previous opening hours and fees will apply in the new season. The cash desks will be manned from 11 am. If possible, tickets should be purchased using the "Bäder Suite" software. Season tickets will be sold at the Neubeckum outdoor pool on Saturday, 6 May from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

  • Thanks to sponsor Reinhard Habrock, children and young people enjoy free admission to the Neubeckum outdoor pool during the summer holidays.
  • On 7 June, the 3rd grade swimming competition takes place at the Friedrich-von-Bodelschwingh and Roncalli schools.
  • On 8 June (Corpus Christi), the Neubeckum outdoor pool association is organising an outdoor pool festival with free admission.
  • Sparkasse Beckum-Wadersloh invites you to the "School's out Party" on Friday, 23 June from 2 to 6 pm.
  • Weather permitting, there is aqua fitness and water play equipment in the pools.

  • On 4 June, the Beckum Swimming Pools Development Association invites you to the outdoor pool festival with free admission.
  • The swimming festival for primary schools takes place on 16 June.
  • Weather permitting, there is aqua fitness and water play equipment in the pools.

2022 season
Last season, 47,751 bathers were counted at Neubeckum outdoor pool (public pool operation as well as schools and clubs). The Beckum outdoor pool had 54,102 visitors.
