Secondary school leaving certificate

Renate Poker, Deputy Director of the Beckum-Wadersloh Adult Education Centre, and teachers Britta Kortemeyer, Dieter Hanning and Johannes Brinkrolf were delighted with their students' good performance. During a ceremony at the Beckum-Wadersloh Adult Education Centre, the former students received their certificates for their intermediate school leaving certificate.

Of the 7 participants who graduated, 3 achieved the qualification to attend upper secondary school. Some are also aiming for this, while others are taking up apprenticeships or planning other paths for the future. But now it's off to a well-deserved summer holiday for everyone.

The good qualifications were hard-earned over 2 years. In the always heterogeneous groups of the second educational pathway at the adult education centre, many lessons are required for basic repetition and special support so that everyone has the knowledge and skills to achieve the technical secondary school leaving certificate.

Thanks to the diligence and perseverance of the participants and the dedicated teachers, this was an outstanding success. The social cohesion of the group also played a major role, which was promoted by the teachers through joint group events beyond the classroom.

Renate Poker and all the teachers wished the young people all the best for the future and that they use their new opportunities to achieve further (educational) goals.

Anyone wishing to embark on a new path towards a worthwhile educational goal can register for a counselling session with Renate Poker on 02521 29-4202 for the courses for the intermediate school leaving certificate (MSA/Fachoberschulreife) or the first extended school leaving certificate (EESA/ Hauptschulabschluss nach Klasse 10) starting on 7 August.
