Immediate programme helps with the search for successors

The fashion shop "Die 2" has been an institution for 40 years and is not only appreciated by women from Beckum when they want to buy new clothes. Many customers from the surrounding area have also been coming here for years for expert advice before buying their clothes.

Team thanks customers for their loyalty
On 15 July, the shop celebrates its 40th anniversary in its premises at Nordstraße 22. Even though owner Bruni Dress will be missing her long-time companion Doris Gonska (who passed away last year), the anniversary will be celebrated. The team would like to thank the customers for their many years of loyalty and hopes for a smooth handover to a successor.

Successor wanted
The city of Beckum is supporting Bruni Drees and the "Die 2" team in their search for a successor. Financial support as part of the city centre immediate action programme is conceivable. This would make a greatly reduced rent possible, and renovation could also be subsidised. This is therefore the ideal time for interested parties to take over a great, functioning concept - with financial start-up support. The existing customer base certainly makes a new start easier. Whoever takes over the concept could also relocate the shop to another location within Beckum city centre.

View the business concept
Customers can still shop in a familiar environment. There is still time for potential successors to take a look at the business concept on site, talk to the owner and perhaps work out a succession plan together. Owner Bruni Drees is looking forward to hearing from you on 02521 13530 or die2beckum@googlemail.com.

Immediate city centre programme
Helga Grothues from the city centre management of the city of Beckum will answer questions about the funding programme on 02521 19-1705 or grothues@beckum.de. General information about the funding programme can be found on the city's homepage: www.beckum.de.

Incidentally, the city centre immediate action programme is not just for start-ups; existing companies that already have a business in another city can also take advantage of the programme. And of course, a wide range of utilisation ideas are conceivable in addition to fashion shops.
