Ground-breaking ceremony on Holtmarweg
Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich took the symbolic first step together with representatives of the Asset Group from Rheda-Wiedenbrück and the general contractor André Gosemärker. Four modern residential buildings with 60 residential units are being built on the 5,485 square metre site at Holtmarweg 16. With flat sizes ranging from 30 to 150 square metres, they offer housing options for all needs. The houses will be built to energy standard EH 40 (EE) and are therefore considered particularly energy-efficient. An underground car park will provide space for 36 vehicles, with a further 25 parking spaces above ground. A green area and a playground on the site invite people to linger.
Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich expressed his relief: "I am delighted that an industrial wasteland in the centre of Beckum is disappearing and that high-quality living space for singles, couples and families is being created here."
Daniel Nottbrock, Managing Director of the Asset Group, is delighted that a great project for the citizens of Beckum has been planned together with the administration of the city of Beckum. Thanks also go to the politicians, with whom a good and fair solution was found. "With this construction project, we want to make a contribution to combating the housing shortage in the region. That is why we have decided to build in times like these, unlike many other investors."
