Drinking fountain running again

Water march: As of now, the drinking fountain at Neubeckum town hall is once again ready for refreshment. Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich and Horst Schenkel, head of the civil engineering department, were on site to see for themselves the good quality of the water.

Drinking fountain in Neubeckum

The system had been out of operation for around 2.5 years due to the coronavirus. In order to provide drinking water during the summer months, the well was renovated and approved by the Warendorf district health authority.

Press the button and the water dispenser offers delicious refreshment - until October. The system is checked weekly and the water quality is checked monthly. Commissioning, control and monitoring are carried out in the same way as the drinking fountain system on the market square in Beckum.
