Postcard campaign for the Westphalian Hanseatic Day was very successful

350 greetings from Beckum to the world

At the tourist information stand, many people took the opportunity to send greetings from Beckum to their relatives and friends all over the world free of charge. Around 350 postcards were filled out on both days of the event, which were stamped and sent after the event.

"We are delighted with the huge interest in our postcard campaign," explains Nadine Richter from City Marketing. "We were able to send cards to 12 different countries around the world, such as Brazil, Chile and Sri Lanka."

The postcards were produced in cooperation with Münsterland e. V. and depict three striking Beckum motifs: the Blue Lagoon, the windmill on the Höxberg and the town model on the church square of St Stephen's Church.

The tickets are still available free of charge and can be collected from Be-lebt at Nordwall 49 or from the Beckum town council office. "Unfortunately, we no longer pay the postage," added Nadine Richter with a wink.
