The 3 winning bands of "Dein Song für Beckum" proved to be great openers and captivated many Beckum residents on the big stage. They were of course able to sing along to the songs. More and more people gradually populated the various event areas throughout the city centre. While there were great hands-on activities for the little ones in front of the town hall, the market square, Hühlstraße and Weststraße focussed on enjoyment.

After the ceremonial opening by Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich together with District Administrator Dr Olaf Gericke, the mayors of the district of Warendorf and representatives of local politics, Jupiter Jones and Stefanie Heinzmann created a really good atmosphere at the well-attended Westenfeuermarkt. The Swiss artist captivated the colourful audience with her charisma and impressive voice. And with DJ MBP, the party meadow turned into a dance floor late into the night.
