Climate protection role models wanted

This year, the prize will once again be awarded to projects that are particularly suitable for climate protection. The aim is to reward exemplary commitment that saves energy, increases energy efficiency, conserves resources, adapts to climate change or changes behaviour in a climate-friendly way.

The climate protection prize is endowed with 2,000 euros. It can be split between several projects if necessary. The first application phase starts immediately and ends on 31 August.

Who can take part?
The project must have been realised within the 18 months prior to the application or be so far advanced that initial results are already available. Applications are open to private individuals, companies, clubs, associations, educational establishments and social institutions with their place of residence or business in Beckum. Those who have already won an award cannot take part again.

How it works:
Climate protectors in Beckum should send the application form with a project description and photos to the City of Beckum's Environment and Greenery Department, Weststraße 46, 59269 Beckum or by e-mail to hegemann@beckum.de or neuhaus.s@beckum.de.

The jury, made up of members of the Climate Council, will decide on the most innovative and best projects for climate protection.
