Saturday, 27 April, 2 - 5 p.m.: Collecting Saturday at the City Museum

On "Collection Saturday", all residents of the district of Warendorf are invited to take part in building up the collection of the House of History North Rhine-Westphalia. We are looking for surprising and moving objects and stories from NRW from the period after 1946. On Collection Saturday in Beckum, the Haus der Geschichte NRW will take over a collection from the estate of railway conductor Johann Franz Rolf, including several uniform jackets from the Prussian railway and a timetable from the winter of 1921/1922. Experts from the Haus der Geschichte Nordrhein-Westfalen Foundation will be on hand to talk to you about your personal NRW history.
