Music in the old vicarage

Reinhold Quartet ends concert season

The Reinhold Quartet with musicians from the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra was founded in 1996. Concerts at the Leipzig Gewandhaus and the Semperoper in Dresden have been particular highlights. The quartet also performs regularly at international festivals. The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung ran the headline "Power and Nobility" about the Reinhold Quartet's concert evenings.

In Vellern, Dietrich Reinhold, Tobias Haupt, Norbert Tunze and Dorothée Erbiner will perform string quartets by Carl Reinecke and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. The reason for the focus on the 10th Gewandhaus conductor Carl Reinecke is the 200th anniversary of his birth in 2024. His achievements include the training of numerous world-class composers and the premiere of many works by composers such as Brahms and Grieg at the Leipzig Gewandhaus.

The quartet will perform the string quartet op. 13 in A minor by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in the second part of the chamber concert evening.

Tickets for the concert in the old vicarage in Vellern are available for 23 euros from the Beckum town council offices, buergerbuero@beckum.de, 02521 29-3350 and at the box office as well as online at www.beckum.de/kartenvorverkauf.
