Agreement signed on security concept

Huge party can start

Representatives from the city council, police, fire brigade and security service have mastered an unusual challenge together with the support of various specialist departments and experts. The participants have now signed the security concept for the big anniversary weekend from 7 to 9 June.

  • A joint effort for the safety of the anniversary guests: those responsible have now signed the agreement on the safety concept.

The holistic concept was developed in close co-operation to ensure the safety of all visitors to the special city festival celebrating Beckum's 800th birthday.

"The safety concept underlines our joint commitment to the safety of our residents and guests and provides us with the perfect framework for realising such a unique event effectively and with the greatest possible safety," explained Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich after the signing.
