Medal "800 years Beckum"

Stone cooler adorns special coin for the city's anniversary

Collectors take note: A special silver coin commemorating the 800th anniversary of the city will soon be available.

The front of the medal shows the old town hall on the market square and the stone cooler, which symbolises the lime and cement industry in Beckum. On the reverse is the logo of the town's anniversary.

The special coin was designed by Stadtmarketing together with Euromint and will be distributed exclusively by the Sparkasse. It will be available in a limited edition and is a coveted collector's item for history buffs, coin and Beckum fans.

Available on 7 and 8 May
On the mornings of 7 and 8 May, the silver version will be available for sale in the counter hall at the cash desk of the main branch of Sparkasse Beckum-Wadersloh. A special gold version can be ordered there. The silver medal is available at a price of 69 euros, the special gold version costs 1,199 euros.
