"Warendorf mixture" makes gardens bloom

The free seed bags are now available at Beckum and Neubeckum town halls (please only 2 bags per household) - while stocks last!

The "Warendorf mixture" is a specially developed seed mixture that was designed in collaboration with the NABU nature conservation centre in Münsterland. Even a small flowering area can make a contribution to biodiversity.

The small seed bags contain a particularly insect-friendly and flower-rich seed mixture with exclusively native species such as corn poppy, cornflower, wild carrot and the blue-purple flowering bellflower, which is an important pollen supplier for our wild bees.

Requests for larger quantities, for example from clubs, schools or day-care centres, can be made directly to the municipal climate protection manager Max Hegemann, hegemann@beckum.de.
