E-vehicle to share

A co-operation between LVM and wuddi makes it possible: an electric car is now available for car sharing on Alleestraße. You can get started right away with the Share Now app.

  • An e-vehicle is now available for car sharing on Alleestraße. Thomas Kleinekemper, Managing Director of the local LVM agency Kleinekemper & Buth, did not need much convincing about the LVM insurance project in Münster. "We are looking forward to supporting this new offer and are excited about the response. The Zoe is now available for use at our agency."

Share Now
The Münster-based start-up wuddi GmbH (a subsidiary of BERESA) is cooperating with the LVM headquarters in Münster at several locations. A vehicle is now also available in Beckum via the Share Now platform. A parking space at the charging station is reserved for the Renault Zoe for sharing.

The charging station installed by Energieversorgung Beckum can be used for an additional vehicle. Parking spaces and signposting have been provided by the town of Beckum.

Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich can confirm the good range of the Renault Zoé.

"I very much welcome the offer at this central location. The town of Beckum has been very happy to support it right from the start," said Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich at the presentation of the project. "It would be great if it is well received and can grow," added the head of administration, who also referred to the participation in a district-wide car sharing project.

Patrick Meimann from Energieversorgung Beckum: "We already have over 30 charging points in Beckum and are driving this forward. Such projects are therefore always very welcome."

"Thanks to wuddi, it was possible for the first time in Münster in 2019 to use car sharing without a contract, without a deposit and 24/7," reports Lea Dillmann from wuddi GmbH. Since November 2022, wuddi has been a franchisee of Share Now, a Europe-wide car sharing network.

How it works
Share Now offers the Renault Zoe as a station-based vehicle. Time slots are booked and the vehicle is opened via the app. Billing is by the hour and according to kilometres driven. The charge is 2.55 euros per hour and 0.32 euros per kilometre driven. Payment is made via PayPal. Users log in with a PIN. The local contact is the LVM agency Kleinekemper & Buth. The Share Now app can be used to book vehicles throughout Europe.
