Glocke editor-in-chief says goodbye

Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich thanked the media companion for his work in terms of critical and balanced reporting.

Stefan Clauser has been head of the "Glocke" local editorial team since October 2008. The journalist completed his traineeship at the Emsdettener Volkzeitung in 1989/1990. He then worked as an editor and editorial manager at the Münstersche Zeitung (MZ) in Telgte from 1990 to 2001. In 2002, Clauser moved to the MZ local editorial office in Münster. From 2007 to 2008, the Telgte native co-founded the online city magazine Echo Münster and worked as a freelancer, including for the ddp agency.

His long-standing colleague Matthias Biefang (42) will succeed him as Beckum local manager.
