Breaking the fast together in Neubeckum

Many people from Beckum accepted the invitation from the Turkish-Islamic community in Neubeckum to break their fast during the month of Ramadan.

After the communal evening prayer in the mosque, a delicious and sumptuous meal was served in the new extension. The community's newly built and almost completed cultural centre can accommodate up to 300 guests.

Breaking the fast together is always a good opportunity to exchange ideas and get to know each other better. Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich was also happy to use the occasion to exchange ideas.
