The aim of the business development organisation is to expand and strengthen the Beckum business network with events. After a welcome from Anja Korte and a round of introductions, the participants got talking over good food and drinks. In addition to the respective competences, the focus was also on what format the entrepreneurs would like to see.
In addition to the information from the discussions, the business development team also took on board the suggestions made by those present on the completed questionnaires. According to these, a majority would like regular input on changing topics such as digitalisation, process optimisation, recruitment of skilled workers or developments in the city of Beckum. Some of those present would be willing to make a contribution themselves, for example on topics such as digitalisation and digital transformation, the Internet of Things, recruiting young talent in the skilled trades, campaigns by the district skilled trades association or artificial intelligence. The idea of company speed dating or meetings with sporting activities was also suggested.
The business development team is delighted with the recommendations and will now develop the concept further. Due to the positive response, a further meeting is planned for the 2nd quarter. The date will be announced in good time.
