Wilfully damaged trees must be replaced

Time and again, trees in public spaces are treated unlawfully and improperly. This concerns, for example, trees on the connecting paths between Johann-Strauß-Straße and Graf-Galen-Straße as well as Spiekersstraße.

Trees have been pruned there, causing lasting damage. The damaged trees will have to be felled next week and will be replaced by new plantings. Unauthorised pruning of municipal trees is not permitted and will result in criminal charges.
