Postal voting offices open on 10 February
Already 6,400 postal vote applications
The town of Beckum has sent out around 27,000 election notification cards. The citizens' office in Beckum has already received 6,400 applications for postal voting documents. Due to the early Bundestag elections, the deadlines for nominating candidates were also shortened. As a result, the ballot papers will not be received by the City of Beckum until the coming weekend. As soon as the ballot papers are received, they will be added to the postal voting documents and sent to the applicants immediately.
Direct voting - postal voting on site
The best way to avoid postal delivery times is to vote by post on site. Direct voting is possible from 10 February at the Adult Education Centre, Antoniusstraße 5-7, and at Neubeckum Town Hall, Hauptstraße 52. Anyone who presents their voting notification and ID card there will receive their postal voting documents and can fill in and post their postal vote directly.
The postal voting office in the Adult Education Centre (rooms 6 and 9) is open at the following times:

The postal voting office in the Neubeckum town hall will be open from 10 to 21 February at the following times:

Monday, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon,
Tuesday, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm,
Wednesday, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm,
Thursday, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm,
Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Return postal voting documents as soon as possible
Anyone applying for postal voting outside the postal voting offices must return the ballot paper and ballot paper in good time so that the completed documents are received back at the Citizens' Office by 23 February at 6 pm. Postal voting documents can also be handed in directly at the Citizens' Office or dropped into the letterbox at the town hall.
Voting at the polling station on election Sunday
If you do not want to go to the ballot box before the actual election date, you can of course wait until 23 February. On election Sunday, voting is possible from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the polling station of the respective constituency. The address of the relevant polling station can be found on the polling card.

Blind and visually impaired people can obtain information on aids by calling 0231 557590-0. Blind and visually impaired people are of course free to vote with the help of an assistant.
