Postal voting offices also open at weekends

Since Monday, 10 February, the postal voting offices in the adult education centre and in Neubeckum town hall have been open for postal voting on site. Anyone who presents their voter's notification and ID card there will receive their postal voting documents and can fill in their postal ballot directly and drop it in the ballot box.

To this end, opening hours have been significantly extended and now also offer the opportunity to cast your vote directly at the weekend.

The postal voting office in the Adult Education Centre (rooms 6 and 9) is open at the following times:

  • Thursday, 13 February, 8:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00,
  • Friday, 14 February, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm,
  • Saturday, 15 February, 10:00 to 14:00,
  • Sunday, 16 February, 10:00 to 14:00,
  • Monday, 17 February, 8:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 15:30,
  • Tuesday, 18 February, 8:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 16:00,
  • Wednesday, 19 February, 8:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 16:00,
  • Thursday, 20 February, 8:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00,
  • Friday, 21 February, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.

The postal voting office in the Neubeckum town hall is open until 21 February at the following times:

  • Monday, 8:00 to 12:00,
  • Tuesday, 8:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 16:00,
  • Wednesday, 8:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 16:00,
  • Thursday, 8:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00
  • Friday, 8:00 to 12:00.

The town of Beckum has so far (as of 11 February) received 7,500 postal vote applications. The ballot papers were sorted last weekend and sent out at the beginning of the week.
