Federal election 2025

Vote by post: How to play it safe!

Documents not received after 4 days?
The postal voting documents are currently being delivered promptly. However, anyone who has not received the requested postal voting documents after 4 days should contact the citizens' office of the town of Beckum on 02521 29-3301.

Return postal voting documents by the deadline
In order for the vote to be taken into account, the election letters must arrive at Beckum town hall by 6 p.m. on election day on 23 February at the latest. In order to avoid delays in postal delivery times, it is strongly recommended that you hand in the red ballot letters with the postal voting documents directly to the postal voting office, the adult education centre or the citizens' offices in Beckum or Neubeckum or drop them in the letterbox at Beckum town hall.

Deadlines for postal vote applications
Online postal vote applications can only be submitted until 18 February at 8 am. The deadline for applying for postal voting documents is Friday, 21 February at 3 pm. The postal voting office at the Adult Education Centre will also be open until this time. It is of course possible to vote directly at the polling station indicated on the polling card on election day.
