Discarded books are given away

The team at Neubeckum public library has sorted out media that has not been borrowed in the last 3 years. However, the books do not end up in the waste paper, but are intended to provide interested people with new reading material, free of charge.

There are two contact points for this:

Visitors can take or swap books at the "Treff in Nr. 5" organised by the Neubeckum local history association (Hauptstraße 5). It is also possible to take or swap books for children and young people during the reading sessions organised by the Neubeckum public library support association in the "Verve" district living room (Hauptstraße 37). This means that the Neubeckum public library will continue to provide a small library for children and young people in Neubeckum.

During the closure of the Neubeckum public library due to the extensive refurbishment, it is of course also possible to stock up on media at the Beckum public library. The library cards are also valid there.
