The guests at the prince proclamation in Beckum's Kolping Hall on Saturday evening were quite astonished: the former mayor, who is now a full-time professor at the North Rhine-Westphalia University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration in Dortmund, jumped out of the box. The well-kept secret is now out. The 59-year-old will lead the Beckum crowd of fools this session. His successor Michael Gerdhenrich congratulated the newly crowned prince with a witty speech and wished him a great party.

Stefan Meier is the court marshal of the city prince.

Stefan Meier supports the prince as court marshal. He still goes in and out of the town hall today. The master car mechanic is deputy manager of the Beckum municipal works.
