Culture rucksack 2025
Writing, drawing, dancing and much more

The extent to which young people blossom when they can try out themselves and their creativity was evident during the presentation of the new Kulturrucksack projects. In the next room, pupils from year 9 at the Astrid Lindgren School recreated a work from the current special exhibition and clearly enjoyed it.
After the group photo with the young people, the programmes for the new Kulturrucksack season were presented. The participating organisations have once again planned a wide range of creative workshops tailored to the target group. The cooperation partners of Kulturrucksack 2025 are the Filou e. V. cultural initiative, the Neubeckum leisure centre, the "Altes E-Werk" youth centre, the Beckum public library, the Neubeckum public library and radio producer Laura Bartels.
At the presentation of the programme, Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich thanked everyone involved and was delighted that the projects were once again being funded. The state of North Rhine-Westphalia is funding the Beckum programme this year with 10,290 euros for around 1,700 young people.
Registrations are accepted directly by the respective organisations. All programmes are free of charge for young people.

Kulturrucksack NRW state programme
Making art and culture accessible to all children and young people is the declared aim of North Rhine-Westphalia's youth, culture and education policy. With the Kulturrucksack NRW state programme, the Ministry of Culture and Science NRW supports cities and municipalities to explicitly enable children and young people between the ages of 10 and 14 to participate in art and culture through a wide range of creative activities. The quality of the Kulturrucksack programmes and their sustainability are primarily due to the recurring collaboration with artists and cultural educators. The personal approach to the target group and the attractiveness of the programmes play a special role. Source: Arbeitsstelle Kulturelle Bildung NRW
