Balloon art
"Market moments" for children
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., balloon clown "Balloni" will be forming figures, decorations and other great things that can then be used as arm jewellery, hats or even for playing. "Balloon art always goes down well with the children. It's great to see how wide-eyed they are as they watch the balloon artist create balloon animals and how happy they are," says Helga Grothues from Beckum town centre management. Of course, the grown-ups can enjoy it too, because it is always surprising what can be conjured up from balloons.
Hof Plümpe also offers fresh, home-baked struwen from 10 am to 1 pm - a typical Lenten speciality.
If you have any other ideas for the market moments or would like to become one yourself with your organisation, please contact Helga Grothues(grothues@beckum.de or 02521 29-1705) or Dennis Braam(braam@beckum.de or 02521 29-3208), who are responsible for the city's weekly markets.
