Female singer-songwriter evening at "Beckumer Spitzen"

Miriam Hanikas *inside life

On this evening, the poetic songwriter and oboist will present her brand new album *innenleben, which was created together with the Poesie Orchester and the Dandelion Quintett, as part of the "Beckumer Spitzen" cabaret series. This is the first time that the town of Beckum has included the genre of singer-songwriters in the well-known "Beckumer Spitzen" series.

"You need a break from everyday noise? Me too. That's why we're now going on tour with the new songs from *innenleben and lots of positive thoughts." This is how Miriam Hanika starts her tour for her first own album, during which she also stops off in Beckum.

Hannika sees herself more as a philosophical than a political songwriter. She wants to convey messages of peace and love. In addition, many of her lyrics reflect her commitment to combating discrimination against women. It is therefore a clear message and no coincidence that Miriam Hanika has chosen to start her tour on International Women's Day on 8 March. Women are also underrepresented in the music business, which is why Miriam Hanika recently founded her own label in order to be even more independent.

According to the announcement, the audience leaves a concert by the multi-award-winning singer and oboist a little different than when they arrived. Simply because you realise afterwards that Miriam Hanika's poetic universe and her rare instrument are made for each other. The multi-instrumentalist's music has a radiance that is impossible to resist, making it a truly successful break from everyday noise.
