Senior citizens celebrate carnival

A varied carnival programme is once again on offer with coffee and cake: Various dance groups will perform, the Weiß-Rot fanfare corps will create a great atmosphere and "die Schlawiner" will get the hall going in their unmistakable style. The session will be accompanied musically by the tried and tested "mood machine" Rolf Agnesens. The new town prince, who will then be crowned, will also pay their respects along with the Elferrat and the children's prince and princess.

Anyone who would like to enjoy a few carefree hours can purchase tickets at the favourable price of 8 euros from the Citizens' Office at Beckum Town Hall, Weststraße 46, or at Neubeckum Town Hall (Citizens' Office, Room 112). Recipients of basic security benefits receive a 50 per cent discount on the admission price.

The organising team would like to point out that there is a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a disabled toilet at the venue. Admission is from 3 pm.
