Free Internet access on the move

New look for easy access to public WLAN

Visitors to the city centres of Beckum and Neubeckum will be able to quickly call up information on the Internet, check e-mails or use social media in the future.

Even after the funding ends, the public WiFi in Beckum remains accessible and is available free of charge under the name Free WiFi Beckum in the areas of Weststraße and Nordstraße, on Marktplatz and Kirchplatz, in the area around the bus station and on Hauptstraße in Neubeckum.

In order to continue to make the service transparent and user-friendly, the city of Beckum has introduced a new landing page. In future, this will not only serve as a gateway to public Wi-Fi, but will also publicise events. This added value will help to further expand the city's digital infrastructure.
