32 000th bather honoured

Regular swimmer Elisabeth Berenbrink is the 32,000th visitor to Beckum's outdoor pool this season.

The 65-year-old Beckum woman goes swimming twice a week in the outdoor or indoor pool. During her visit today, there was a surprise: the Beckum Swimming Pools Association and the pool team presented her with a bouquet of flowers and a voucher for 75 euros as the 32,000th bathing guest this season. This corresponds to the value of an outdoor pool season ticket for adults.
