Children go on a "journey through Germany"
"Journey through Germany"
This year, the Phoenix Team Beckum and the city of Beckum invite you to a colourful "Journey through Germany". It starts on Saturday, 3 August at 2 pm.
The family weekend on 3 and 4 August attracts visitors with tried and tested fun and games, a lawn tractor rally and coffee and cake. In addition, the German Alpine Club Section Beckum e. V. is offering a climbing taster course for children on Saturday. The number of participants is limited for safety reasons and prior registration at the Spielmobil is required.
On Sunday, children can immerse themselves in the colourful world of the Beckum carnival. There will be various workshops - such as music, dancing and arts and crafts - where the children can try out their skills. Carnival floats will also be built and presented at the children's carnival parade in the evening.
Varied week
From Monday, 5 August, there will once again be a free bus shuttle for all participating children through all districts of Beckum to the Aktivpark. The timetable can be found in the programme booklet.
During the week from 5 to 9 August, the Phoenix team will be offering children a varied "travel" programme. There will be arts and crafts activities on the different regions of Germany: wind turbines from the far north, a Trabbi game from the east of our country and felt traditional hats from the south are just a few examples of the fun activities on offer.
The trip to Germany also includes mini golf tournaments, games on the meadow and bouncy castles. And then children from the 4th grade onwards can build their own hut out of pallet wood. Registration at the Spielmobil is required to build a hut. On Friday afternoon, the children present the big final show together. There will be two Phoenix bets again this year: The children can set the Phoenix team a task that must be completed at the final show. The volunteers from the Phoenix team will also set a task for all the children.
Tent camp
From Tuesday to Thursday (6 to 8 August), registered children can take part in the tent camp at Aktivpark Phoenix. A fee of 25 euros will be charged. Registration for the camp is possible from 1 August at the Spielmobil.
Lunch
During the week from Monday to Friday, a hot lunch can be booked for a fee of €5.50 per portion. Lunch is freshly prepared and delivered daily by a Beckum catering service.
Good to know!
Participation in the holiday play days is mostly free of charge. Registration is required for individual offers, which can be handed in at the Spielmobil in the Aktivpark Phoenix from 1 August.
