"Full in the picture": Beckum caricature exhibition

What began in 2012 has led to almost 12 creative and successful years of around 500 Beckum caricatures created by Heinrich Schwarze-Blanke (HSB) and published in the "Glocke". The range of topics is as diverse as local events: Events from politics, business, culture and society find their place just as much as local scandals, big and small, or other special incidents.

As a finale to the 800th anniversary celebrations, the exhibition "Voll im Bilde" ("Full in the Picture") allows a cheerful look back at only a selected section of Beckum's history. Nevertheless, Beckum at the time of its foundation was also on display, as was one or two visions of the future.

The caricaturist Heinrich Schwarze-Blanke will be present at the opening of the exhibition on 9 September at 7 pm on the ground floor of the Beckum-Wadersloh Adult Education Centre. The exhibition shows a selection of his huge oeuvre.

The exhibition itself can be viewed from 2 September to 29 November, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., on the premises of the adult education centre.
