New opening on Nordstraße

"Impuls" offers women's fashion and home accessories

Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich congratulated the owner of "Impuls" at Nordstraße 18 on the new opening and wished her every success.

Petra Miklejewski has worked in retail for many years and most recently had a boutique in Dortmund. She has now moved to Münsterland for family reasons, so the support programme and the vacant shop came at just the right time. In her inviting shop, customers can find chic and beautiful things for themselves and their homes. Petra Miklejewski is supported by her husband Dieter.

The new shop in Beckum's pedestrian zone will expand the mix of sectors and revitalise the vacant space. Thanks to the subsidy programme, the shop owner pays a lower rent. However, the model only works if the owner of the property also waives part of their rent. For the shop on Nordstrasse, part of the necessary conversion costs were also subsidised. "Impuls" is the 4th project since the start of the new programme phase at the end of 2023.
