After five months, the west pond has now been completely remodelled and redesigned. The construction fence will be dismantled before Christmas and the Westteich will be open to the public again.
The town of Beckum has received additional funding of 630,000 euros for the joint redesign of the St. Stephanus church square in Beckum town centre, which was developed together with the parish of St. Stephanus.

The Beckum citizens' office and the registry office are now signalling with the emergency island sticker: "Where we are, you are safe" and are there to help children in distress.
