Marianne Witt-Stuhr moves to the cultural office

Marianne Witt-Stuhr, the previous head of the city marketing department, is moving to the cultural office of the city of Beckum.

There she will conceptualise and implement the cultural events in Beckum. Her extensive experience in event management will stand her in good stead.

As part of her new role, Marianne Witt-Stuhr will also be involved in the organisation and implementation of the city's anniversary and the Hanseatic Day in 2024. Deputy Head of City Marketing Pascal Rückert will take over the management of the department on an interim basis until a permanent successor has been found.

"Mrs Witt-Stuhr did an outstanding job in preparing for the anniversary and at the same time initiated the reorganisation of city marketing. However, for personal reasons, Mrs Witt-Stuhr has decided to step down from her management role. I very much regret this professionally, but I can understand the decision. I am all the more pleased that she will continue to support the town of Beckum with her expertise in another role," commented Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich on the change.
