In an extremely difficult environment, the need to invest in infrastructure is higher than ever. For example, the construction of the new fire and rescue station in Beckum and the Sonnenschule school will have to be financed in the coming years. Some of the necessary planning costs will already be incurred in 2025. The profit plan shows income of 125.49 million euros. This is offset by expenses totalling 135.57 million euros. This results in a rounded deficit of 10.08 million euros. This deficit can be covered from the equalisation reserve, so that the budget is notionally balanced.
The approved budget will now be submitted to the district of Warendorf for review.
