"The woman who ran into doors"

Theatre play for women

The title heroine in the play trains her hard-boiled behaviour between jaded teachers and pushy neighbours at the bank. She starts a family with her husband Carlo. She repeatedly ends up in hospital and explains her injuries by saying that she ran into a door. It's about her love for her children and her escape into alcohol. As a woman addicted to alcohol, she takes her life into her own hands despite all the adversity and humiliation. Small victories give Paula the strength to carry on. Admission is free.

The event is organised by the Round Table for Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence in the district of Warendorf to mark the International Day against Violence against Women and Girls.
