Twinkling lights and Christmas flair in all 4 districts

Beckum, Neubeckum, Roland and Vellern invite you to Christmas markets

Of course, St Nicholas, an open Sunday, the town hall brass band and culinary and musical highlights are not to be missed.

As every year, the market will kick off in Roland on 23 November, where the festively decorated stalls with all kinds of treasures await visitors in and around the community centre. From 29 November to 8 December, Beckum invites you to the Christmas market on the historic market square. In Neubeckum, the Christmas village of huts will be set up on the square in front of Neubeckum town hall from 13 to 15 December, and the Christmas market will take place at the lime kiln in Vellern on 21 and 22 December.

Numerous organisations are also active this year. "The Christmas markets sweeten the pre-Christmas period for us with a cosy atmosphere and the best entertainment. I would like to thank everyone who contributes to the success of the 4 markets," emphasises Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich.

Stadtmarketing Beckum has once again put together an attractive family programme and invites you to spend some cosy hours with festive sounds. Whether in Roland, Neubeckum, Vellern or Beckum - each Christmas market has its own charm. Guests can look forward to a wide range of pre-Christmas family activities: from balloon modelling for young and old in Roland to making lanterns in the Beckum City Museum, the magic show with Professor Abraxo, the children's cinema in the Neubeckum leisure centre and face painting in Vellern.

"Once again this year, special thanks go to our local supporters and sponsors, in particular Sparkasse Münsterland Ost, Volksbank im Münsterland eG and Energieversorgung Beckum. They all make a significant contribution to the success and unforgettable experiences," says a delighted Sabrina Schrage, the new deputy head of city marketing.
