The mayor's statement on a current event, an interim report on a construction site or a photo opportunity with a colleague from the town hall? All press enquiries are answered as quickly as possible and interview partners are arranged. From here, the city news goes out to the media in the form of press releases. Press meetings with representatives of the relevant media take place regularly.

The press office maintains the website, which in turn is staffed by more than 20 specialist editors. The homepage contains the latest news as well as a direct link to all services and a preview of upcoming events. On the sub-pages, which are filled with content by the individual specialist services, users can quickly find what they are looking for. Also and especially on the internet, it is important to formulate things as clearly and comprehensibly as possible, to help users as comprehensively and quickly as possible. But sometimes texts and images can simply entertain.

In addition, the Press Office produces audio and video reports on special events and provides photos on request.
