More greenery, various recreational areas, sports facilities: The schoolyard of Rosa Parks Comprehensive School in Neubeckum is being redesigned and opened up to the neighbourhood. At the official ground-breaking ceremony with many participants, the anticipation was palpable among everyone, especially the school community.
After 2 years of construction, the new building ensemble has been completed. This was duly celebrated on Saturday with many participants, invited guests and all interested parties with speeches, guided tours and a great programme.
A wooden play ship has replaced the previous platform in the ropes course at Roncalli School. The pupils immediately hijacked it and are delighted to have a cool new piece of play equipment in their school playground.
