Beckum recycling centre
In the "Auf dem Tigge" industrial estate, the company Franzpötter Containerdienst operates a recycling yard on its own responsibility as a third-party agent of the City of Beckum.
The recycling centre is available to all households and businesses in Beckum. Recyclable materials and waste of various kinds can be delivered there. There is only a small delivery fee for the disposal and operating costs. The final disposal is carried out by the waste management company of the Warendorf district.

Waste (accepted for a small fee):
- Waste wood, used tyres
- Mixed construction waste, construction waste
- Glass/flat glass
- Green waste, large roots
- Soil (pure)
- Corks, plastics
- Paper / cardboard / cartons
- Bulky waste, scrap
- Textiles/old clothes
- Residual waste (to a small extent)
Waste electrical appliances (free of charge for electrical appliances from private households):
- Washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers
- Heaters, refrigerators, computers, printers, copiers, telephones
- Televisions, radios, video cameras, mobile phones
- Fluorescent lamps, other lighting fixtures
- Hoover, iron, coffee machines, hair dryer
- Shavers, electric toothbrushes, alarm clocks
- electric tools, electric gardening tools,
- electrical toys, smoke detectors, thermostats and much more.
Hazardous waste mobile at the recycling centre
Einmal im Monat macht das das Schadstoffmobil Station auf dem Gelände des Recyclinghofs. Hier können die schadstoffhaltigen Abfälle in haushaltsüblichen Mengen zur Entsorgung abgegeben werden.
